Nick: Fairly easy Azed this week, 5/10 for me.
This was a tale of two halves, the top half going in very quickly, with the bottom half following at a slower (but still quick) pace.
I have one query at 22ac – I really can’t make out what answer Azed is after here (but it doesn’t matter, really, as the grid entry is the same either way).

Very unusual to see Azed make 2 factual inaccuracies in the same clue. In 30Dn, ‘thebes’ is not the plural of thebe (see C), and a pula is worth many a thebe, not vice versa.
22Ac can be read as just a double definition, Nick.

Thanks Azed for the crossword and Nick for the blog.
6dn: I think this is ((m)O(b) (ab)O(ut) VALIANT)*. I cannot account for the “about” otherwise.
30dn: I agree with Richard@1 on both counts.
I agree with all comments so far. I use Azed’s style of parsing and had 6d as simply ‘anag. inc. o, o’
Thanks all
Quite an easy Azed,I thought.
Last in was 34ac.
I agree that ‘thebes’ is not the plural but I do think that ‘thebe(s) will be worth many a one (pula) could be correct.
ie lots of thebe will be worth many pula.
Forgot to mention 16ac, easy but lovely.
Hi Nick
Thank you for amending the entry for 6dn.
