New words for me were PORTLAND BILL & PLANGENT.
Thanks Everyman and Lorraine
Thanks, Lorraine. Very enjoyable Sunday puzzle. It took me ages to get 26a, DEFECT, for some reason! I liked MEMBER, too.
Thanks Lorraine and Everyman.
Everyman always provides a pleasant way to start Sundays.
Yes, another enjoyable one from Everyman.
Thanks Lorraine; a small typo in 9 – L + OUSE. I toyed with ‘space car’ at first for 23, but the crossers put me right.
I particularly enjoyed CHEMISTRY, GALLEON, SINECURE and ICECAP.
Not bad but I didn’t like the repetition of “Land”.
