    I enjoy the added attraction of the picture quiz even though I rarely spot the connections or contribute so feel compelled to make an effort to ensure that banishment doesn’t lead to abandonment.

    Pic 2 is Tom Cruise from Last Samurai. I cannot help with any others but await the connections with keen interest.

    The other answers are: Pic1 shows a GLAD EYE cocktail; pic3: GIDDY-Up-A-Ding-Dong is a song by Freddie Bell and the Bellboys featured in the film “Rock Around The Clock”; pic4: The OPPOSUM beetle is a subfamily of beetles; Pic5 shows Charles Bronson in the film “The Magnificent Seven”, which was based on the Japanese movie “The Seven SAMURAI”; and pic6: Anglers use DOUGHBALLs as bait to catch catfish.

    Thanks scchua. The only one of those that I could/should have thought of was pic 5. I recognized Bronson but not the connection.
