AZED 2,201

[If you’re attending York S&B please see comments 32&33] - here

My first Azed puzzle as a regular blogger entailing a very enjoyable trawl though Chambers. The great thing about blogging an Azed puzzle is that it gives me the perfect excuse to spend the afternoon reading the dictionary without attracting unwelcome comments about ‘needing to get a life’ etc. Thank you Azed.

  1. Got it all correct, but didn’t understand how 6 worked, so many thanks for that. It felt quite a tough one by Azed standards.

  2. I can’t really comment on the level of difficulty as I don’t do enough of the ‘barred’ puzzles to make a comparison. My usual view on these is that if I can complete them then they can’t be that difficult.

  3. >>Equivalent of the House of Commons in the UK, which is referred to as the ‘other place’ by MPs in the House of Lords.
There are no MPs in the House of Lords (not allowed).
Both houses refer to the other as ‘the other place’, or, more often, as ‘another place’.
