This was a welcome puzzle today as I was running a little late with blogging. In each clue the wordplay and definitions fell in neatly so there wasn’t much to be doubtful about once I had the answers.

I may not be able to pronounce the setter’s name properly, but I have no trouble pronouncing this puzzle a nice and easy solve.

This was a puzzle of two parts. Some answers went in straight after reading the clues and for others I had to spend time parsing the wordplay after getting the answers. Thanks to NEO for the welcome workout.

Looks like my honeymoon period of blogging is over. This was a monumental struggle which had me scrambling all over Chambers and Wikipedia.

This was a gentle teasing puzzle, perfect for a weekday without anything too complicated. Being unfamiliar with the language, I had to verify the two French words after I got the answers. Thank you Courtier for the fun and games

Thanks to Gaufrid for the opportunity to blog this puzzle. I was apprehensive about what I was going to get for my first post, but GURNEY ensured that there would be no problems. This was a fun outing with a variety of clue types thrown in.
