Has Tramp got easier since his first appearances in the paper or am I just imagining this? Thanks Tramp for a fun puzzle. Scooby-dooby-doo!

I got though this quite quickly, so either I’m getting better or this is at the easier end of the Azed spectrum. Thank you Azed for yet another fine puzzle.

A nice easy puzzle form Falcon, though I don’t expect there will be many people will be doing the FT puzzle today. Thank you Falcon.

I found this tricky and for I while I thought I might not even finish. Thanks to Monk for another fine mental workout.

Thank you Azed. I never get the least bit tired of solving and blogging these puzzles. I can’t explain why this as (specials apart) they have less variation than any other of the puzzles I solve.

I enjoyed this. I would cite this is a great example of how to write a traditional puzzle yet keep it fresh and interesting. Thanks Flimsy.

Thank you Julius for another fine puzzle to solve and blog. A couple of bits I don’t fully understand but no doubt they will be explained in due course.

I bought a Chambers Dictionary app for my phone last week so I could solve puzzles in the coffee shop without having to cart the Big Red Book around. So I tried using it for Azed this week. It was clearly more efficient than using the paper copy but made me realize how much of the pleasure of solving Azed is not just in the words I look up but in all those other words I come across on the way. I spend as much time off on tangents as I do solving the puzzle. An efficient app that takes me directly to the entry in question free of distractions sounds good in principle but I don’t think I will be using it as first choice in future. Thanks to Azed for a super puzzle, as always.

This kept me thinking hard all the way through to the end. Thanks Aardvark.
