A very easy challenge from Orense and ripe for beginners on the FT.

Bradman makes a return this friday with a real toughie!!

An enjoyable, and relatively easier challenge than usual from WANDERER. I had to google a bit to check my parsing (on 2 clues) – learnt a couple of new things along the way.

A really neat themed puzzle from Gaff!! A lot of fun solving including the expected toughies (parsing more difficult than solving when it comes to Gaff). Thanks a lot Gaff for a winnieng puzzle.

Another brain twister from Wanderer! No clue that could be termed obvious yet upon solving seemed like they should have been easier than they appeared to be. Exactly what a good crossword clue should be. I have 1 clue that I am not sure I have solved fully …

A witty masterclass from one of my favorite setters – thanks REDSHANK for a delectable offering this Friday morning.

A challenge from Bradman, of 2 parts. 80% of the puzzle took 20% of the time and … you know how the other part was. Thanks Bradman.

An unbelievably devious challenge from WANDERER this Friday. Thanks Wanderer.

Redshank’s challenge today felt like a slugfest ! Had to work hard to solve several clues, and progress was painstakingly slow at regular intervals. Thanks Redshank for a high-intensity workout !!

A long day at work resulted in a delayed post – apologies for the same. Rushed through this, a moderately difficult challenge from the Don I thought. I was held up equal parts in the solving, as well as in the parsing, for the clues that did pose a challenge. Thanks Don, for a good workout.

An excellent challenge from Wanderer, keeping in style with earlier offerings. I found the parsing for several clues annoyingly admirable. 🙂 Hunted for the nina without much success.

A good solid challenge from the Don. Progress was slow but steady and I learnt a couple of new words along the way. Thanks Don, for a workout that was more than satisfying.

A riveting challenge from Wanderer. I was ok all the way until I reached the SE corner, where I was left to my devices trying to crack the remaining clues and needed help getting over the line. Thanks Geoff!! 27d still needs a well-parsed solution.

I thought this was on the tougher side of Bradman’s usual offerings. A lot of good solid clues, with some that were made difficult by me not knowing the word. All in all a good workout. Thanks Don!
