  1. Welcome to my new blogger. And a big thank you to Niall for all his loyal blogging for so long. However, I don’t know whether to be sad or elated to learn that I have a better grip on musical terminology than Handel!

  2. Welcome, Handel, and thanks for the excellent blog. It was a joy to blog the puzzle for so long. I found it always (as I’m sure was intended) an accessible puzzle at the easy end of the Indy spectrum with a pleasing, light, touch to the clues. But the greater the variety among bloggers, the better!

  3. I’ll drop in to say “welcome” too! Albeit a little late, as it took until today to find time to tackle this one.

I don’t time solves, but this one seemed to go in more quickly than usual, with a couple of holdups at the end. Hadn’t heard of GAUR, but spotted it the clue, even though “with” doesn’t seem to suggest a hidden word.

Similarly unsure why “article” is “restricted” but I fear that’s something I probably should know.
