  1. Nothing really difficult; didn’t know about New York gang fights. A few words went in from crossing letters and only after seeing them in the grid did the parsing become apparent, e.g. DIWALI.

    I did not know about the New York gang fights either. I liked the’ unrefined resort’! I guess many North Yorkshire people now go to ‘the Med’. Actually, the photos of Scarborough on the web look rather inviting.
