As I said in the main blog, Impressi◍n is Inkling’s only puzzle for the Inquisitor – I had read elsewhere on this site and others that Chris Dunn (Inkling) died last July, but owing to the wishes of a family member (another setter) we felt that it was better to publish without mentioning the circumstances so that any feedback would concentrate more on the actual puzzle.
Those who commented will be sad not to see another puzzle from Inkling, but we all thank him for this parting gift – adieu.

Thanks for posting this, HG. How very sad, and what a good decision it was to let us focus on that excellent ‘Impression’ puzzle on Tuesday (and since). I’m with you in thanking Chris now in this way, and to say adieu.
